When Canadian artist and designer Tobias Wong died at the age of 35, his friend Fred McSwain wanted to remember his friend’s death by doing something special. To illustrate the art that Tobias held dear, as well as to illustrate the randomness of life, Fred used 13,138 (the age, in days, that Tobias was) dice to create a portrait of his friend.
13,138 dice later, the portrait was finished, and it’s truly a masterpiece to behold.
