8-bit is a popular, albeit outdated computer architecture that was used in videogames in the 1980′s and is now memorable for the pixellated graphics and characters, as well as the 8-bit music which is still popular today as chiptunes and nintendocore.
8-bit graphics are still widely popular as a nostalgic form of art, and some artists recently decided to depict what it would be like if 8-bit characters and technologies infiltrated real life.
