Amazing Star Wars Paintings

Born in Osaka, Japan, artist Tsuneo Sanda is a self-proclaimed Star Wars fan since 1977 and avid painter.  Providing artworks and creative consultation to Lucasfilm since 1995, he has incredible talent, experience and passion for art, particularly Star Wars art.  His style has evolved over the years, as evident between the paintings he has made for various characters and the different Star Wars films.

Tsuneo describes working on Star Wars art a dream come true, saying it continues to be a part of his brain cells even today.  “The first few moments of each episode overwhelm me, exploding in my head like brilliant fireworks.”
